Oil Seal G10

This G10 has a ribbed elastomer outer jacket around a metal reinforcing ring, also a spring-loaded sealing lip.

What are the special features?

- Has a modern design of the sealing lip, which ensures a good dynamic effect

- Has a secure static seal in the housing

- Is made for housings with a high thermal expansion for example, light metals

- Also for shared housings

- For housings with increased surface roughness

- A seal for liquid or gaseous media

- No danger of fretting rust

Usage parameters

The information below is for the standard material combination.

Temperature, -40°C  until +100°C 

Pressure, unpressurized

media, Mineral oil based lubricants, synthetic lubricants

When using synthetic lubricants, for which experience figures are not yet available, compatibility must be demonstrated during laboratory tests or better during field tests. An operating temperature of 80°C must not be exceeded.

Hardness: min. 45 HRC

Roughness: Ra = 0,2 - 0,8 μm

Rz= 10-20 μm

Rmax = ≤ 6,3 μm

Housing: 

Tolerance: ISO H8

Roughness: Ra= 1,6 - 6,3 μm

Rz= 10-20 μm

RMax=  ≤  25 μm
