|Oil-seal A-WA||16 mm||NBR-NITRIL-BUNA-N||10 mm||Roest- en zuurbestendig Verenstaal 1.4301 conform DIN EN 10270-1||59|
Oil seal in the standard version according to DIN 3760 with an elastomeric outer jacket and a metal reinforcement ring as well as a spring-loaded sealing lip. The standard type with a dust lip (WAS) on the bottom is available extra.
Spring: non-alloy steel according to DIN EN 10270-1
Reinforcement ring: non-alloy steel according to DIN EN 10139
Sealing of rotating machine parts, such as axles and hubs, for example.
The WA is a single-acting oil seal for rotating shafts. The elastomeric outer jacket makes a good static seal possible, offers a good compensation of the expansion, for example in light metal houses, a better seal with relatively large roughness and a safe seal with shared houses.
A good static seal with liquid or gaseous media is guaranteed.
Good chemical resistance to many mineral oils and fats.
Please also note our medium resistance table.
Pressure (MPa / bar): ≤ 0.05 / 0.5
Temperature (° C): -40 to +100
Rotation speed (m / s): ≤12
Suitable auxiliary tools must be used for assembly. It is advisable to shape the installation space in such a way that the oil seal in the housing is axially supported.
Other dimensions and other types such as for example dust lip, ridges on the sealing lip, other steel quality of the spring or the reinforcement ring can be manufactured as well as all possible special types. With non-standard dimensions, minimum order quantities may be required.
