What is a National Oil Seal?

National Oil Seals is now part of the Timken umbrella they produce high quality products. Oil seals are used wherever shafts rotate and bearings require lubrication to work effectively and they must not leak. Timken’s National Oil Seal line of O-ring seal kids boast the coverage necessary for the gamut of popular applications. These handy oil seals serve to close spaces between stationary and moving components in mechanical equipment, also helping to prevent lubricant from escaping the system and from leaking. The model 35 is an very good static sealing ring. They can be used for splitting housings, with possible edge breakage and/or butt offset. The advantages are light metal housings, high thermal expansions. All the housings have a greater coefficient of expansion than steel. Use the ring in pressure applications.
